The Central North Island Wood Council (CNIWC) is a membership organisation which aims to lift the profile of the forestry industry by influencing, contributing, initiating and facilitating work that will benefit our industry.
We provide industry support and advocacy, promoting the Central North Island’s integrated production forestry sector which is recognised globally as a prime example of a bio-circular economy and community kaitiakitanga.
CNIWC Awards
New Zealand’s largest forestry region celebrated our industry's successes on Friday 31 October 2025 with the Central North Island Wood Council Awards.
