Generation Programme 2025

Here's an update on the delivery of the Generation Programme which has been proudly supported by Timberlands Ltd in partnership with Toi Ohomai Institute NZ.

The redesigned curriculum delivers the NZ CErtificate in Harvesting Operations (Level 3) with a focus on Basic Machine Operations and Landing Operations and covers essential areas of forestry operations, including:

  • Health & Safety in Forestry Operations

  • Essentials for Working in Forestry Operations

  • Forest Industry Machine Repairs and Basic Maintenance

  • Operating a Forest Machine

  • Log Making and Quality Control for Landing Operations
